What We're doing

Mission

We create a stable, loving home for senior dogs in need. Currently, we are housing and caring exclusively for senior dogs. However, as we began planning, we realized with acreage, we would be able to care for many animals, including livestock and, well, we also love goats. There are a lot of goats that need rescue as well you know... And maybe a unique donkey who needs a home. And, well, we wouldn't say no to a few chickens if we had the space. And maybe one pig named Delilah...

While we obviously have a great love for animals, we are also incredibly realistic. We want to start our sanctuary with planning and integrity. We WANT to be able to take in many animals. However, we will certainly grow our pack slowly and with careful consideration. The last thing we want to do is overextend ourselves with limited resources.

Our animals will always come first, and we won't take in an animal until we are sure we have the resources to care for it (and our standards for animal care are quite high!).

We've been fortunate enough to connect with several other animal sanctuaries to begin getting an idea of costs, needs, and startup, and that's why we are asking you to help.

A nonprofit is only as strong as the community that supports it. When a community pulls together, anything is possible. We are proudly a 501(c)3, which means your donation to our sanctuary may be 100% tax-deductible. Please reference our EIN number 852681667.

We are currently scouting properties in the Pacific Northwest, and assuring the property will meet the needs of our sanctuary. Your donation will move the sanctuary one step closer to opening its doors!

We provide holistic care and end of life comfort. We know when we take our dogs in, their time with us might be short. We focus on offering them a place in the pack, and filling their days with love and respect. This includes their final day with us.

Our animals know they are loved and appreciated, and that at their passing, they will be missed by their pack.

How we got started...

We are Ashley and Anthony, and we love animals. We have always had animals in our family, and understand the importance and responsibility of caring for domestic animals over the entire course of their lifespan.
